The Beautiful Double Room was comfy, and the bed felt great. I loved the beautiful views in the morning. But, the fire alarm went off a lot from 4am to 8am, which really messed with our sleep. Otherwise, everything was nice!

The setting was lovely with charming furnishings and a variety of nearby attractions. The cleanliness in our room was a concern, and the water pressure was low. The view wasn't ideal either, but the gardens were stunning, making this place still worthwhile.

Beautiful setting surrounding the hotel, perfect for a peaceful retreat. Unique original mirrors and paintings added character to the decor.
The room cleanliness left a bit to be desired, with cobwebs in both rooms. Water pressure in the sink was weak. Privacy might be an issue. Every time someone entered or exited through the front door, it created a loud noise that shook the entire house, waking us up twice . Poor views from the room compared to others, with just a wall outside the window and access through a tight space due to misplaced furniture. Basic amenities like tissues and a chair were missing, which was like oversights considering the overall potential of the place.

A Comfortable Getaway with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed a cozy night in our room, though it was a bit cramped. The nearby restaurant offered good local dishes. Pro tip, make sure to secure parking in advance as the gate may not always be attended during late hours.

The beautiful setting and comfy beds. It was also cool to see animals like sheep and goats around, which totally. We loved the original mirrors and paintings in the hotel, added a nice touch. The garden was fine, perfect for some peace and chill.
The light shade in the bedroom was too low and my husband bumped his head a few times. Plus, we had trouble finding the hotel car park and ended up with a parking fine.

I found the staff helpful . The quirky atmosphere added a unique charm! Improvements in room design and amenities are advisable. Future guests should bring extra rugs for warmth on chilly mornings and check dining hours in advance as some areas close early.
